What is VCU LEAD?
VCU LEAD is a 4-semester living learning program for undergraduates students at VCU who are dedicated to developing their individual leadership skills and reaching a greater understanding of what leadership can mean for a community. VCU LEAD LLP will increase the breadth and depth of each student’s leadership skills through a coordination of coursework, co-curricular activities, and residential experience. Students selected as VCU LEAD scholars are required to live in the Grace and Broad Residence Center for the duration of the two year program, take a leadership course curriculum, and will receive a Certificate of Leadership Studies on their official VCU transcript.
The VCU LEAD office is also responsible for the Emerging Leaders Program and LEAD Explorer program for first-year VCU students, housed in the Gladding Residence Center. The Qatar Leadership Exchange and Peer Leadership Committee are also administratively housed with LEAD.
